Next thing of 2007. What do you think it will be?

I have been looking around for the next thing that will be popular for 2007. It seems for 2006 it was arcade sites, video sites, myspace sites, and a few other niche stuff like image hosting scripts at the start of the year.

I have spoted something a little different then the same old "made for adsense" crap site. It's a "made for adsense" great looking blog. Ran automaticly without having to make a single post yourself. Link Here (this is not my site nor am I affilated with this site). Was looking it over and it looks professional and something that I would check out for information. Personally I have been toying with the idea of doing a rss feed site to make it update automaticly and not have to worry about updating it myself, but then had the must give a "link" back worry to do it or not. So, I decided not to go through with it totally and experimented with only one site in the end.

Thinking about it myself, I am totally clueless of what will be hott for 2007.

My question is what do you think will be the next big thing for 2007? Hit or miss at least you thought it would be cool.

Videos (YouTube)
MySpace Resources (MySpace)
Pixel Boards (MillionDollarHomepage.com?)

They were all brought on by one site that had a unique idea. The next time a big site like one I mentioned above releases in 2007... thats going to be the new popular website. :imho:

..I know no one wants to give up thier idea's. :hehe: Maybe the next big thing will be somethingg with the Ajax stuff that is starting to come out. Here is to ebay intergrating ajax into thier site.

Speaking of video sites. What I would like to see in a website would be a video site that will play on my cell phone via 3g format type of video's. That way I could text my friends a link to the video's and run up thier cell phone bandwidth bills. :D haha.

At the end of the year it will definately be political websites. People are looking ahead at 2008 and seeing a great election coming about.

It's a self-serving statement but I agree. Political sites will be HOT in a year from now. That's why I started to gather political names and developing sites earlier this year. I am hoping to get a jump start in the SERPs. So far so good.

Political banter and online coverage will be at it's peak for this upcoming election. I saw a tremendous spike for the mid-terms and everyone into politics is rather excited about 2008 Presidential election.

Maybe we should start a thread about this subject alone.

Next gen video game sites?, political sites, share your "inner self" with the world sites either in the form of blogging or just a diary type forum. More non-english pages; rest of the world is moving fast on the internet, while the U.S, well it's as common as having a telephone now, as having the internet. More "Scammer sites" as yahoo gets a foothold on advertising with their new advertising(like adsense), they will have to deal with all those bozo's that google has already kicked out, if yahoo was smart they would just buy the list, could save a lot of headache.

I believe Verizon is doing a deal with Google to enable just that.

Also increasingly people will pay a flat fee for mobile internet access. In the UK now you can now get a 3G connection with several gigs of BW for $20 or so.
