Yes, I think mid to high $x,xxx sounds about right. A bit more to the right end-user. IMO.

what could also ad to its value is the likes of News Corp are going to try ? and make people subscribe to there news sites if they did you could get an even better pay off... might break the $xx.xxx mark. A global reporting site with members posting there own local news... Could be very interesting

well, what also ads to its value is that it is a developed forum and on google page 1 ,second place, with thousands of yahoo backlinks, etc etc....

i would say this is a minimum low xx.xxx name

also compare the trends. web hosting forum (which sold for 20.000 - 2008), with such dissapointing results

imho, skip the reseller market (domainer to domainer) and go straight for the enduser.
don't take it to auction, don't waste time listing on marketplaces, take the time to make cold calls and find the right enduser. the name is not too generic, it is actually perfect.

mid5 - high 5. (standalone, no dev)

perhaps even up to mid6 figures with the right backend. reach the higher end of that range by putting in the hours to identify the right suitors and make sure you master the art of negotiation.

I agree with the chap who says it's too generic. It's a nice name no doubt about it but it isn't a topic in itself like domains or casinos, for example, but rather a blanket term.
