News Script? (PHP)

Greetings,

I'm currently working on a project and I need a good news script. I'm looking for a basic system that allows for me to set it up in a design and I have a backend (prefferably with a WYSIWYG editor, but not a must) for adding stories. It'd also be great if it could do headlines as well.

This needs to be a PHP script and if it is free/open source then that would be perfect since this is a non-paying and volunteer project. I'm not really looking for a CMS/blog but I am considering the Wordpress alternative.

i dont know anything like this, i was hoping to find something like that
can you do me a favour plz? and email me if anyone gives you a good script, cause my websites about me, so i could use the news php alot
