Well, I've been doing some web design for the past couple of years without really using images or flash, but I figure it's time I get started. I would appreciate it if anyone could recommend to me some good photoshop and flash tutorials and how to integrate them into designs for beginners. Thanks

Take a look here, or just make a search for "flash tutorials" and "photoshop tutorials." There have been quite a few threads on this previously.

I think the best way to learn is by playing around with previously completed website sources. Such can be found at FlashKit. I honestly hate learning from books and/or online tutorials, unless I have no other option.

yes, you could spend all day at FK just looking at the stuff there and the libraries. You hate books? Ahh man, they are great :p

Not even. I can't stand most of them. It takes way too long to read through a 500 page book, and just reading through websites takes a toll on me.

well, ya, cuz its on a monitor. But i can read a 500 page book in a day so... And ones that come with CD's are great. Anyone got a copyof the AS MX bible for cheap??

Hey that's a good idea, I think I'll be going to that Flashkit place tonight and doing as you suggested.

Yeah, there's enough junk of FlashKit (like Google). There's a few diamonds but they're hard to find.

Nah, the intro's they come up with are nicely put together. I've never seen a resource with a design like that before. It's just a nice change from the usual FlashKit-type portals.

You mean overall forum quality? I think WebDesignTalk/NamePros is the best!
