Very new to this. I was curious about a few things.

If you create a domain, (zero history) is it better to sit on it for a while before listing?

When selling, are you selling specifically the name or are people expecting a site with functionality?

Where are the best places to hunt for expired domains?

And lastly... eventually is it better to form an LLC and operate through that business for tax purposes and other advantages?

Welcome,

For new domains please read about 60 day lock period. During this period a domain push in the same registrar is generally possible but transfer to another registrar is restricted. Better not to auction newly registered domains but listing them is ok with taking into account the above period.

Most people look for the domain but not a site with functionality.

ExpiredDomains . net is the best place for both expiring and expired domains.
