So I have a site I'm trying to sell. Not sure if I'm allowed to say what it is so I'll just say it is:

www dot used(the thing you're staring at) dot com

I'm trying to sell it on Sedo and I put it up for auction but being the newbie that I am, I set a reserve price and now can't undo it. Was this a mistake? I haven't gotten any bids and I figured this domain would be in high demand.

It's only been two out of the seven days so maybe I'm being I'm being impatient.

I guess my question is, is it ever a good idea to set a reserve price and if so, can I still choose to sell my domain if the reserve price isn't met?

Setting a reserve is not a bad idea especially when your names are generic like this one. But the reserve should be realistic enough and you should think as the lowest number for which you can let that name go and put that as reserve. Be a bit more patient.
