Hello all,
Just registered today. I've been browsing the forums to get a little more acquainted with the forum slang, so I dont sound like a complete idiot when I ask this, but have been so far unsuccessful.

My question is: what does "Reg Fee" mean, usually associated when domains are worth $0.00?

Also, could I have these names listed below appraised? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

Reg fee means "registration fees". That's the basic cost of the domain you pay to registrar.

I guess weddingtapes.com & weddingtape.com are mid $xx. All others are worth reg fee IMHO.

Thanks,
Pratik

As far as your domains go you have quite a list. To get the best out of the NamePros appraisal system I would post maybe 1 or two every couple days...otherwise you won't get the full appraisal consideration you normally would.

I'll try one:
cpujobs.com

Unfortunatly CPU and jobs don't really go together too well.

"Computer Jobs" turns up 69,164 searches for January in Overture.
"CPU Jobs" did not turn up 1.

To sell it wholesale you might get $5-$20.

I really appreciate everyone's help! In the future, how can I use Overture to my advantage in picking out good domain names?

Thanks

Well don't base it off Overture entirely...there are some domains that before development probably weren't searched much at all (ie Google, Monster).

However it can give you a good idea of what people are looking for and having those keywords in your domain will yield better results in more and more search engines.

Here is a link to the Overture Keyword selector:

Question: Best place for a quick sale

Hello All,

Your opinion on this would be appreciated. If you're looking for a quick sale on your domain, like $300 and less, where would be the best site to begin? Thanks.

"Quick Sales" depend, of course, on the specific domains being offered -and- the price they're being offered at, IMHO. One cannot say for sure without knowing at least those two variables ... of the domains you have listed, I think the best chance for potentially above "Reg. fee" Quick Sales are: weddingtapes.com / weddingtape.com

All the best!
