Hi everyone,

I have a small portfolio of domain names and here is a selection relating to tv and news. I have other domains but these are the ones that i think are worth getting professionally appraised. Is this a good idea, what would you do/suggest i do with them. Thanks in advance - newb Jezjones

MyDigitalTelevision.com is my favorite out of these. It loses value because of the My and the fact it is 3 words and quite long, but Digital Television are 2 nice keywords.

A lot depends on who you sell to - reseller/domainer or end user. I was offered $4k for my domain www.myspecialchild.com (and .co.uk) but turned it down.

On the down side - it is available in almost all other extension (but .com is the main one). Based on that mid $xx to low $xxx

thanks for the speedy reply and the good feedback.
I am reassured that the same thoughts i had were echoed by someone else;- the "my" would bring the value down, but the .com & .co.uk help.

When you do decide to sell domains, (and i may be posting in the wrong thread now), do you use a Sedo.com auction or are there other places, also should i try and promote a sale somehow or is it better to just list it somewhere and wait for interest?

Thanks again.

I post in many places. TDNA, Sedo, etc. Doesn't hurt to get as many eyes on your domains as possible.
