New Weekly Domain Sales Report from DNJournal.com: ccTLDs Continue Recent Roll

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. For the first time since early February, no six-figure domain sales were reported this week. There were however hundreds of four and five figure sales, the price range favored by the small to medium sized business end users that are the most active buyers in today's aftermarket.

Our new Top 20 Chart includes 13 .coms, 5 country codes and a pair of non .com global TLDs (a category that had been shut out the past two weeks). An ongoing story is the continued strength of the ccTLDs. The first ten names on our Country Code Top 20 all cracked the five-figure mark. Loving the 5L brandable sales.

Visus.com $20,000 (1990 reg wow)
Resia.com $2500 (2006 reg date)
Tabuk.com $2,793 (2003 reg date)

If you don't think having some good brandables in your portfolio is a good idea think again. Any of those could have been picked up for under $100 in a forum like NP. How often do we see 2006 reg date sell for $2500 that aren't squatter domains?

Anyways...decent list of sales this week but nothing amazing. Maybe next week.

Anyone notice there were 28 domains with the word "advertising" and most of them were not .COM. It appears they came through Afternic DLS so perhaps they are from the same end user.

There's a thread / conversation of the "Advertising" sales in our #1 Domain Discussions Forum™, as well ... any insight as to what's going on with these reported sales (over $70k in total sales of "Advertising" domains of varied extensions)?
