Recession + auction fraud + hoarding + pie-in-the-sky domain journalism = a domain industry that is depressed and "on the ropes."

During the recession, the domain industry should have gone the extra mile to maintain credibility. Too bad auction fraud and rose-colored domain journalism have sunk domain industry credibility to an all-time low.
