New to forums

I am new to the forums and I just wanted to introduce myself. I am from Alabama, USA and have been doing a little web design work for a personal site and for a site that we use at work. I am learning as I go. I am fairly decent with html asp, sql, and javascript. I have worked on a couple of sites for pay and I enjoy doing it. The site that I do for my current job is just one that I play around on and just makes things more convenient at work. A partner and I are getting our business going now and are working on local advertising at the moment. We are doing all kinds of web design as well as other advertising (signs, banners, hat, shirts, etc.) I am looking at learning PHP now and if anyone has any suggestions about books that would be good for some PHP lessons. I have noticed from what I have been doing that PHP is similar to C programming which I am familiar with. Any suggetions would be appreciated and I look forward to asking and answering many questions while on the forums.
