New to domain backordering

Hi guys, I'm new to backordering and I was wondering if someone could help answer a few questions I have. A domain I want to backorder is currently in a redemption period but I've backordered it with snapnames atm. is this sufficient?

also, i heard you can add funds to your snapnames account to pay with Paypal but can I pay with paypal AFTER I win the backorder and make sure my (debit) card on the account doesn't get charged? I was also going to put it on namejet.com but they only accept credit card not sure if a debit card would work.

also what is the process if I do win? is there anything else I would need to know about when using snapnames/namejet to backorder e.g. tips, hidden fees etc. also anything else you guys recommend?

backorder everywhere possible

some places will not allow you to order until the name is in pending delete, depending on the registrar the redemption period can vary greatly.

you can prefund snap or nj using many methods but best get a valid cc so they can charge when you get the name (hopefully).

Last but not least if you want a good tip, do not place your backorder early on sites that publish names that are being backordered or you will fingure out that 80 other people all of a sudden find uyiuhiuhijusd.com interesting

Also, I don't want to prefund my account using Paypal in case I don't win this domain (i'm not going to be backordering a lot of domains) so is it possible that if I do win the backorder I will be able to add funds then or will it deduct my DEBIT MASTERCARD (not sure if debit card work just like cc for deducting)

if you don't have any funds in your snapnames account they will auto bill the card on file if they catch a domain for you. to increase your chances you might want to backorder it at namejet as well. there are other backorder services that could catch it but snap and namejet are the main two.
