New technology...exciting but dns worth anything?

I don't usually do this bc/ speculation on tech can be a waste of time and money...but apparently a new kind of tv called SED TV is coming out in the fall and it could compete with plasma and LCD. It will be thinner ("ultra-thin") and sharper images, I guess.

Here's my question: anyone have luck with tech speculation? I regged: buysedtvs.net, sedtelevision.net, ultrathintvs.com, and a few more.

Thoughts...past experience...anything would be appreciated.

I picked up a bunch of names related to dul-core chips a bout two years befor they hit the market and I still own all the names. Only very low offers. But I think a consumer driven product like a new tv would be a good bet.
