New skin on NamePros for the $3000 a Day Domainer

Personally I like it. It's similar to schemes I use on my own forums and is easier on the eyes than the last skin - especially the background.

As for sponsors the way I look at it is -

(1) it is not my forum and though the concerns of members need to be taken into consideration, the final decision rests with the forum owners who know far more about what is going on in the background than other members. If you trust the owner, then you trust and respect their decision. Although I have only been here a short while, I am sure the owners would have taken the members into consideration and strived for a balance between sponsors needs and members needs

(2) I did not pay to join this forum, all the services and forums I use to my advantage I do so for free. Until I joined NamePros I had never sold a domain - now I have! I have learned more in a month than in the many months prior to joining NamePros. If that means I have to look at a skin that may not appeal to me personally, then it's a small price to pay and it sure as hell isn't going to stress me out or prompt me to write to the tabloids as "Disgusted, Sydney"!

came back and refreshed the page. And now a new advertising theme is installed. $3k a day sounds good to me.

Well done NP on getting the ad rev. But the ad is a bit cheesy. Sounds like another ebook that will make us all rich.

I thought you would be selective in the advertisers, but obviously the $ is more important.

Yes, I joined up with their site and watched the videos and read their tutorials (all for free) before doing the skinning. I will be trying out some of their techniques myself and reporting back with how they worked for me.

And yes, if I am able to make $3k/day, then I'll surely be able to keep NamePros online for a long time without needing to worry about sponsorships.

Yes you're right, I didn't check the site. But I did try. Waited ten minutes for the page to load then it timed out. Just shows the power of advertising on NP. Within 5 minutes a server overload
