beautiful site, well done, only thing i would recommend is - take the adsense skyscraper and place it under the menu - the right side, which is black and give more room for the content and pics - that should free up 160 for the content, since you have a lot of free black space - you can add two skyscrappers in it :)

Thanks for the reply, I am planning on adding alot more links on the right sidebar and a picture and video section with a latest video/picture feature on the black sidebar.. So I think I need to add that before I decide on that.

I think the layout is great. But I also agree that you should move the ads so that you can widen the content. If you dont want to move it to under the menu like was suggested, then i'd change your google ad so that its horizontal and put it above your content so that you can still make the content wider.

The main part of the layout I dont like is the gradient behind the content and the ad skyscraper. If you are going to leave the ads where they are, then I would remove the gradient from behind the content so that the gradient only shows once rather than twice.

I hope that makes sense...

awesome, its a great design, however the header saying "Nissan Skyline GTR" on the right is a bit cheesy.

Apart from that its spot on, I really like the navigations, very sleek :)

I think it's nice, except in my opinion there is too much black.

its nice, I didn't notice there was an adlinks, until I looked very closely. I really like how there are a nice amount of images, so it makes the site really colorful. I am also working on my blog to make everything blend in smoothly.

It loaded a bit slow for me so I would attempt to clean and speed it up a bit =D

As for the design I like it overall. I would, though, make the categories stand out a bit more (cause they blend in with the background image too much). Also I don't like the gradient you've put on for the title of the very right sidebar.

Other than that, it's a good design for a simple blog =D

The design is real smooth and sharp! It appeals to my 'man' emotions :red:

I do have one small suggestion, and it is really small -- but, sometimes small changes make the biggest impression ;)

On the post pages if you are not going to accept user comments, then do not display "Comments are closed." To me it is tacky, and a smack in the face to your readers.

What if they did want to comment? If there was an option and they see you disabled it, then it might turn them off. But, if you take away any notion of comments ever being available, then you take away the need for the reader to comment.

It just looks better...

Looks great - one lil thing though.

Your posts' "content" area, is eating into the sidebar for me.

I'm using FireFox 3.0

...apart from that, it looks nice :)

I am using FF 3.0 too, and the content section looks fine.

Arjun, what resolution are you using? Maybe it has something to do with that?

Thanks for the replies! Ill take everything into consideration..

Could you post a screen shot of the error? I know it goes a few pixels into the gradient, is that what your talking about?

Thanks!

Haha, if my PC could get that resolution I would test it out and see if I get the same issue :p

But it does not :'(
