New Site Design - New Business - Review

Hello,

We're just putting the finishing touches to the design of BMR IT . Can you please have a look at let me know what you think from a design perspective and SEO also ?

It's a simple design,
but some thing I would change right away
- don't center the paragraph text it looks and reads badly
- the contact page is too simple - add a contact form other contact methods, or push the email into the header (there's no need for an extra click just to get an email).
- the link color can be hard to read, there's not enugh contrast.
- if the friends page should be blank then maybe you don't need a link to it? (just a dropdown menu).
- the site feels empty - maybe add a footer and some more text images etc. right now it leves and unprofessional feeling.

did you use a WYSIWYG editor?? because the code has excessive markup and inline css.

It's simple, but there's something very appealing to me)
Well, it is def not finished because you surely lack content on your pages.
Will you submit more information right? and make links to your service offeres?
I think as soon as you complete the website - you will have nice traffic)

Thanks for the contructive opinions we'll look at the thingsyou've suggested and implement and update the thread when complete. There will be more content to fill in this website with more informations.

Yes, it is a very simply design. The fact that the text condenses on hover is a bit annoying - I'd scrap that and just go for a simply hover effect.

I would scrap the design and start over, perhaps keeping the blue color scheme you have chosen. You can purchase website templates online or hire a professional, but when I look at the current design I don't feel as though it puts forth the high quality appearance I am assuming you would like to achieve.
