Ok Radiohead just released a new album. For the non-indie rock types Radiohead has some major traction, indie cred and the record sales to back things up.
So they released an album, big deal you say. So its available online, bigdeal.
What about pay WHATEVER you like for the complete album. You can pay 1 cent/pence or 100 dollars/pounds for the WHOLE album. There is an admin fee of 45 pence so I guess the credit card company is making some cash off the whole deal.
No iTunes, no Apple cut, no middle man. Its making some people sweat in the industry. Sure other artists have done the same thing but Radiohead can move some major units (millions of CDs) so its a very big deal.
Anyways the new album/cd/MPG files (whatever you want to call it) is pretty good. How much did you pay?
