I personally think that it's a good name. It obviously works well with the .us as well but I don't pretend to know much about resell and end-user value.

Hopefully someone with more experience than me can shed some light. Obviously the hyphen hurts value but it's still a good name I think.

Decent domain with keywords fitting well with the ccTLD. Clearly this domain could serve several purposes related to the City of New Orleans such as a blog, hotel, bar, restaurant finder etc. The issue here is the hyphen. I don't see a serious developer/investor going for this domain. Rather this domain looks more attractive to developers/investors with small budgets or resellers hoping for increased interest in the future. Resale: high $xx - low $xxx. End user: low - mid $xxx.

There's just too many options to choose where I couldn't see someone knocking on your door presenting you with an offer on it. Freak things happen but you'll be holding on to this one for a long time. I'd either develop or use my renewal money elsewhere.
