With the new data that has emerged from Namecheap https://onlinedomain.com/2018/10/15...cheap-shares-domain-name-insights-and-trends/
The top 3 domain extensions are:
1) .Com
2) .Info
3) .Club
Everyone knows .Com is king, however I thought this information was very interesting. At the #2 spot is .Info which was launched way back in 2001 (17 years ago.) While at the #3 spot you have .Club which was just recently launched in 2014 (just 4 years ago.)
So .Info has been available to the general public for just over 4X the amount of time than .Club has. So if you were to do an actual side by side comparison it seems to be pretty evident that .Club is in fact the second most registered domain after .Com
On that note, what are your thoughts on the .Club extension? Is a .Club for anyone or just a certain niche of business? Do you own any? If so can you please state the domain and maybe a short explanation as to why you purchased it? If you dont own any I think it would be interesting to hear the other side of the argument as to why you do not own any.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and comments.
