.mobi New .mobi

I just registered ugli.mobi with godaddy. What do you think?

I have plans to develop this, along with my only other .mobi, capi.mobi.

In fact, these are the only two domains I'm interested in developing at this point! I really think that .mobi can kick off. At the very least, .mobi is a very unique sounding extension that users won't forget. Because of this, I am selling off ALL of my other domains (capitalist.cc, slice.cc, hotlink.cc, capitalism.ws, plus some vcvc.coms). PM if interested.

What do you think of ugli.mobi?

I have the same ? as above... as someone else posted in another thread, there are far better .mobis out there worth the gamble. At first glance this one is kinda, well, you know, ugli.

What better .mobis do you mean? Just curious. It will be a game site.

The name is very catchy, and it's very short. I can't see names like DiscountComputers.mobi ever doing well because they would take so long to type in.

I agree that short names are generally better. As far as your domain, all I can say is develop it and let the market decide. This discussion really is less about .mobi and more about branding.

Yes, I agree. At this point, I don't think there is much value in undeveloped .mobis, except of course for a few premium names.
