According to ntldstats.com, the number of new gTLD’s domain registrations grew by 1.1 million domains, in just the last 5 days.
In terms of percentage of increase, the 1.1 million increase in new gTLD domain names, is close to a 9% increase in just 5 days.
Leading the charge over that 5 days period is .top which added over 400,000 domain names since February 13th; .xyz which added 200,000 registrations; .red which added around 120,000 domains;.win which added over 100K domains.
The new gTLD .Cloud which launched into general availability since February 13th added another 20,000 domain names and now sits at over 22,000 domain names.
