Google released a new mobile search engine additional to their existing mobile search.

No, this is the the first time that they've mentioned in in a press release. I've been using google's mobile search for a long time now, and its the same thing mentioned here.

Ive been using this for ages too... but it seems that this version has the ability to change the homepage like Google's Normal Homepage.

Would have been nice if they used .mobi.

This would be a useless exercise because the .COM does the job.
