I like it. I would say it's not too simple. Good job.

Way too many ads. i can understand you need money to keep the project up, but you have 7-8 ads on the index alone

I would work the header image some more. It needs to convery the idea of dating and maybe get smaller. Try to have a background like it on the main header so that it's not looking weird on bigger res.

Best of luck with the project :)

There are really Too many ads which the whole layout becomes quite messy and crowded. If it is about dating, i think you should use more Red, Pink

it looks good but you have to many pictures of people and the back ground behind them is to plain. But the banner at the top of the page is good. keep up the work and you will reap the rewards.

I dislike it to be blunt. I think that it is too plain, and too simple for a dating site. For a start the header logo is too amateurish and doesn't have anything to do with dating, if you want to go for a more computerised image rather than a photo, then something connected with dating (ie: love hearts, champagne etc...) would be best.

Next, I think it is too dull. Firstly, you need to change the page so there is at least a small margin. Then you neeed to get rid of the sponsored ads at the side because they are making the page expand more than it should, and there is to bottom scroll bar (don't know why) so there is no way for people to scroll across, unless they have, and can be bothered to use, a scrolling mouse like me.

Next, the menu at the side is almost, although not quite slate blue. Its darker and deeper than slate blue. I don't think it works. A website about dating can't be grungy. I think that you should make the site more light blue and pink, two colors that express the useage opportunities for both men and women.

Lastly in my post is the fact that the images are just scaled down origionals, which, even if square still look incredibly unimpressive and bad scaled down, and when they were origionally rectangular the people in those pictures come out stretched or squashed, or both. This is not good, especially for the front page. Basically, if people don't like the front page, they will turn away straight away, this will leave a lasting impression not to bother with your site any more. If the same thing occurs later in your site, then they are more inclined to actively participate in the criticism of your site, either to friends, or on forums or the suchlike around.

Anyway, good luck with that, and remove some adverts. That yell.com one at the top looks really out of place on your page and shouldn't be swamped in a massive blue "advertisement" box.

very busy - and although I make that mistake myself on my own websites - this is even busier than I can take :) Also, I find the SPONSORED ADS on the right using a very straight forward language quite offensive (not that I am a prude and take it personally - just does not seem to go with "cozy")

Another thing - on my 12 inch laptop I cannot see the entire width of your site since there is no side scrolling enabled - a viewer can force it with the mouse, but maybe some of the cozy daters don't know that...

And finally, your site menu at the top is very detached from everything else.

I do, however, like the header on the pages you menu links to, ie.: http://www.cozydating.com/client/php/RegisterDating1.php
that is .... cozy :)

Good luck!
