Actor.net could be a good website like other celebrity gossip websites. I'd go to Actor.net before I'd hit, Celebritygossipkingsandqueens.com any day of the week. Plus I dislike Perez anyway.

Can be used as .Net(work)

.net is meaningless - literally - compared to other popular extensions like .biz, .info, .me and .org. It means you are on the net - well, duh!

Used to be for ISPs etc, but that use has faded away.

I think it all depends on the keyword which makes a domain name profitable or not, either to a reseller or to the end user.

Agreed.

He might've gotten better offers at Godaddy or Sedo. It's all about who's looking at these listings at the time it's listed.

.NETs are still the second most popular domain extension.

I have sold dozens of .com's and not one .net. It's a small sample size, but still disconcerting. It's good to see others can at least move their .nets. However, I will not buy any going forward.

I don't know why it was worth $20K in the first place. WHAT actor would buy this?

An Actor probably wouldn't buy it, but an Acting school would.
