Which do you guys think it's more valuable? I've read some threads here that says .net is losing value and its even valued less then .org. I seem to have the same sort of thinking. I want to know what everyone else is thinking as well.

Have your .nets been selling more then your .orgs?

I agree with Jeff and amenzyl....

.ORG is better than .NET :imho:

If a domain is taken in .com, i would register .org not .net...

Cheers!!

.net, have never seen anything concrete to suggest .org domains sell for more than .net's, I've seen alot for the reverse though. In terms of .net losing value, the whole market has lost a heck of a lot of value!

Though I agree .net has lost more than average, but I don't think it has done any worse than .org or any other sub par extension.

.net gets my vote, by far. .org is on my 'safe' list, but I would MORE LIKELY go for a .net before the .org.

Depends on what you intend to do with the domain actually.

Fansites, nonprofits, community...definitely .org.

Otherwise, .net is just as good. :]

Good .net names that are perfect fit for sites to sell stuff or service are more valuable than corresponding .org.

Depends on the keywords.

HotShoes.net over HotShoes.org (this is a no contest)

StropDrinking.org over StopDrinking.net (maybe even .com)

I agree, .com and .nets would be better for a commercially orientated site where .org or .info would more suit a personal site, blog or general information site

it would depend on the rest of domain (sans extension). domain.orgs work great for certain subjects and establish trust, although not to the level of .govs/.edus, while .nets are well accepted for more techie-type sites.

I prefer .orgs. As someone mentioned before, people register .orgs on purpose. People register .nets because the .com is taken!

I love .ORG, but it is a rare scenario where I would prefer .ORG over .NET

.NET is better for commercial sites, where .ORG works better for certain types of domains.

.Net or .Org that can be a hard answer. it would def depend on the domain itself .org will sell very well if its geared to a non profit business. but a .net is alot like a .Com not a powerful but kind of works the same.
