A year ago or so I needed hosting for one site for a domain I was selling (Hosting had to go with the domain, as it was a developed/semi-developed sale), so I found a cheap option that I thought still met the minimum specs.
However, after signing up, I did not receive a username or password for 4 weeks, despite numerous emails and phone call attempts. I therefore cancelled my account and moved on elsewhere. After doing so, I finally received an "apology" with my account info, but when I logged in, it wasn't nearly what was promised, and at that point, was not willing to expend any more time trying to fix the issue.
Today, I received an email from them letting me know that they had automatically renewed my hosting, and that before I had only cancelled my domain. Right. I forwarded them my original email which was crystal-clear ("I am thereby cancelling my hosting account with you 'dot5hosting' and ask that my associated domain ________.com not be renewed."), but got this lovely reply back (All grammatical errors and nonsense are his, it's a copy/paste).

As per company policies we auto renew our clients web hosting account auto and under this policy have charged your account and renewed for one year. Hah! I love it!
In any event, anyone know who their "parent" host co. would be? I'm just going to dispute any charges, of course, but I would love to right a nasty little letter to someone who speaks English and/or cares
