Need a developer with a 360 degree skillset- able to develop and integrate hard-core backend functions into an existing site, and undertake modifications to said site as directed. This is NOT a simple "website design" sort of position. I need a code geek with real talent. My normal guys are all locked up on other projects- this one has been back-burnered for too long and needs to get finished...
The site is 80% complete, but needs a lot of back-end functions integrated, as well as some general tidying up. Again, let me reiterate- this is not a "website design" gig. If you can design a shopping cart, design backend data gathering functions on user activity, design unique, code based functionality and integrate it into a website, that's the sort of thing I'm looking for.
PM with samples of your work, your code fluency's and whatever relevant skills you have. If you have industry references, so much the better.
From there, I can provide links and preview passwords and we can discuss the job and your cost. If no one here meets my criteria, off to elance it is.
I am far more concerned with quality, talent and reasonable cost than "speed" so there is no rush. Also, if you're talented and reasonably priced, this absolutely has the possibility to develop into bigger things, other projects, etc. For the right person, a percentage based ownership stake in the project is very possible. This is full scale, big time undertaking.
Must have firm command of the English language and able to take direction; please understand that what I'm paying for is a developer who is working to execute my vision; not just completing tasks that "technically" meet the job description even though the result isn't what I had in mind. It is a 100% certainty that at some time in the process, you will work very hard on something, only to have me tell you to change it. If your ego prevents you from working with someone who is straightforward and doesn't sugar-coat things, this might not be for you.
