Needed Programs

I was wondering if people here could help me make a list of thigs you need on almost any computer. Please tell me why you feel these programs are needed.

First you need an Antivirus software (Not optional)

Softwares:
AcrobatReader(freeware): Reads Portable Document Files
FlashGet (freeware with ads): Download Manager
Google Toolbar (freeware): Block popups, auto fill forms and adds google search on toolbar
HijackThis (freeware): Removes Hijackers\Unwanted Toolbar Buttons\Startup items. It also creates log files that you can use to easily troubleshoot problems.
mIRC (shareware): Internet Relay Chat Client
Nero (shareware): CDR\DVDR Software
SpyBot Search and Destroy (freeware): Removes Spywares\Adwares
UltraFXP (freeware): FTP Client (find the free version)
WinHTTrack (freeware): Download websites for offline viewing
WinRAR (shareware): Compress\Extract files


Games:
Gunbound (freeware): Fun Worms clone game
RYL (freeware): Great RPG

Outlook: reading email from multiple accounts in one place
Winamp: keep the tunes playing
AIM: talk to friends online
Dreamweaver: best program for web coding (in my opinion)
SmartFTP: another ftp program, just my preference

gFTP - ftp client
rdate - sync sync sync, lol
XMMS - music
XChat - IRC
iwconfig (wireless-tools) - otherwise no net for me!

@Notepad... I'd recommend Metapad... it's the next generation of Notepad, with all the features you'd want!

Nortan Antivirus - best antivirus out there ( my opinion )
outlook express - definetly need this for email (pop3) besides, it usually comes preinstalled
INTERNET EXPLORER! - comes preinstalled, any browse works tho
Nero - if you wonna burn cds, this is a must
mirc - if you wonna be '1337' this is a must
photoshop 7 - if you make graphics, this is a must
zend engine - if you program php, this is a very very good program

putty - got to have a good ssh client
GoogleTalk - for your IM and VoIP needs
GoogleDeskbar - use the sidebar verison its super cool
Cygwin

AVG Anti-Virus
Apache/PHP/MySql (or other sql server that you like) Always good for local testing
