Do you want to build a social website like facebook and myspace??

[RPicard]

I recommend elgg. I have only been using it for about a week but it has really come through for me. A good community of developers making plug-ins, themes, etc. too. And best of all it's open source :D.
Elgg - Open Source Social Networking and Social Publishing Platform.
