Need some help

OK, so here it is:

I am trying to learn this domain game. So, I have been reading and rereading the forums for a few weeks now. I am starting to understand a lot more than what I did. However, I'll find a decent .US domain that is available, only to notice that the .BIZ and the .WS and .INFO are already regged. I don't understand why it's this way. This completely blows my mind! :lol:

I've bought a few domains in a few TLDs, and they're probably worth RegFee at least. I don't know if I've learned anything because I haven't sold any domains yet. I don't know if I should continue to buy domains, or try to develop the ones I have or what......

Really, I just wish there were someone here I could run my available domains list by, and see what they thought. I can't just post the available domains that I am thinking about regging to see what people think just to have someone reg them before I do......

i feel just about any time you can reg a name with most all other extensions taken, reg it, this is a great industry, with great people, the best thing to here is learn, go through posts that are old, find what it is in this industry that is you niche, mine is a domain name collecter- hobby - website publishing, it is really a much broader spectrum of an industry than alot know.

Tory, no problem bud. Thats what the forum is here for. Theres tons of information out there, and the trick is to take your time until you understand it. New domainers always make big mistakes, buying names, not realizing what makes them valueable or not. Heck, I know I bought atleast 20 names that Ive had to let go off of bad ideas/concepts.

Heck, I still register domains that weeks later I ask myself why.
