Hello,

I need some help from you. I have a high traffic domain name that receives a lot of traffic through a lot of former subdomains. I want to forward all of that traffic to a very related affiliate program. However they do not do nameservers. They only do url forwarding. I want all of the traffic to be redirected to that program. I changed nameservers to my own server. What kind of file do I need to place there so that every single subdomain that is typed in is forwarded to the affiliated program as well?

Help would be really appreciated.

Best Regards
Nico

What name servers do you have for your domains now?
If they are pointing to your domain registrar, I guess you can login to your domain registrar account to forward all your subdomains traffic~

Also - if it is currently hosted anywhere .... You should be able to setup Error pages to catch all the traffic - Dunno how to do it without hosting though ...

It should be feasible to do it using a .htaccess file through mod_rewrite, assuming your host has enabled such a feature in your account. If you wish to take that route, let me know and I'll assist you in writing the .htaccess file.

just setup a wildcard A entry in your zone file *.domain.com

Use MyDomain.com free DNS services. They offer wildcard DNS entries. Then, if your server has a static IP address, they your default page will show up for all the subdomains.
