Need some help getting this aligned in the middle (css)

Im trying to do my first css design, but i dont know how to get my text to be vertically centered.

One thing, it appears you have your 'nav' div about your 'content' div.

If you're putting your nav div in the middle of the page...and your content will be below that...I'm just curious what will be in that whitespace above the nav...?


As I look at it more, it appears you have the 'cont' div, then the 'logo' div inside of that....then you close the 'cont' div and have the 'nav' div, and finally the 'content' div.

Why don't you use a nesting structure with your divs, instead of treating them all as seperate entities (with the exception of 'cont' and 'logo')? Perhaps it would come together better if you positioned the heights using absolute positions...as opposed to trying to fiddle around with alignments? Just an idea, I'm no expert.
