I see zero value in these names

Drop the eBay name before you get into trouble

buymorebacklinks.com is available to hand register if you like it

But the Ebay one is currently selling for $1.6K :S

What would you see value in with a domain name? A few tips?

Putlocker is an established storage site. No one can monetize this name without getting in trouble - direct trademark infringement.
BuyMoreBacklinks could be a business, but it won't pay well. Google penalizes this behavior and most people are too smart to buy backlinks now.
EbayGuide could be safely utilized to educate people about eBay, or to sell books or ebooks about eBay. If anyone conducts any kind of business on ebayguide that competes with eBay (in any way), that person will wish they never even heard of a domain.

Namepros is full of tips already. Did you read any yet?

Again DomainBizDev, don't advise people this when you aren't sure, if you sell books or eBooks, you are profiting from a TM name, which is showing bad faith, if you want to keep your reputation in tact here, don't advise people on legal issues.

OP, I would drop the name to avoid any issues...and you can also only ask for appraisals on names you own

What do you mean again? You've never addressed me before.
...when you aren't sure.
I am sure. Have you studied this issue?
...don't advise people on legal issues.
I did not advise. I stated the simple truth of nominative use.

So, why do you feel the need to be threatening?

Hi guys, no worries at all, thanks for both your assistance.

Since then I have picked up:

rlenk.com - Famous gamer

bevog.com - Brewery in Austria - Messaged them regarding the purchase and they have replied with interest

laosz.com - Laos (Translation in Bulgarian - Country name)

bidrz.com - Bidding relating website maybe?

ssuta.com - Tax related form (Don't see much value)

xpjet.com - Aeroplane manufacturer (They own xpjets.com)

mpice.com - Educational institution (Don't think they'd buy)

suitd.com - Suit selling website?

shmns.com - Band from England (Messaged the manager)

mbfwm.com - Mercedez Benz Fashion Week Madrid (Don't see much value in it)

Your thoughts ?

What do you mean again? You've never addressed me before.

I did advise on another thread about TM names, have a look

I did not advise. I stated the simple truth of nominative use.

You stated he/she should sell ebooks/books using this name, that is showing bad faith straight away by profiting off someones company name

I am sure. Have you studied this issue?

No, but once you have read through the legal section here or spoken to some of the well-known internet law people on here, you will see that the name is a TM, so you should be advising him to sell books or ebooks using ebayguide.com, it really is common sense not to profit off a TM name, PM me if you want clarification on this and I will happily PM you some similar threads

So, why do you feel the need to be threatening?

Not being threatening at all, I would just hate to see a lawsuit filed against the OP because of advice he has taken from here...its just dangerous to advise on legal matters, it safer to stay away from names with things like Ebay, Microsoft, Facebook, Yahoo, Toyota, Apple etc

Ok, post in the legal section if its ok to sell ebooks/books using EbayGuide, I will happily apologize if the general population say I am wrong

You have a very good argument there and well clarified. Have you had look at my second list of domains?

Please refrain from falsely accusing me of advising OP.
You stated he/she should sell ebooks/books using this name...
Re-read my posts. I have never advised OP, i.e. told them what they should or should not do
You have told them what they should or should not do...
Drop the eBay name before you get into trouble

Again, please have a look into nominative use.
When you go into Barnes & Noble, there are several books on eBay.
They are not written by eBay.
They exist by the logic of the law.

domainbizdev, I see you have some tm names too, that explains it

my last post here, OP, please get advice from the legal section if you decide to do anything, good luck in the future

Giles,

I am not trying to do anything underhanded. I don't need to.
Which of my domains have you discovered with trademarks?
If I find that I infringe upon anyone's TM, I will immediately drop the domain(s) in question.

(I would say that you have hijacked this thread.)

Yep, there is not much value in these

You must remember if these names were all available to hand-register, there is a reason for that

None of the names are really brandable or pronounceable, you would be better off paying a bit more for nice brandable or strong keyword names and holding onto them. There really are no good names left to hand-reg so you are better off looking on the drop lists and email existing owners of decent names, thats where you find the bargains and the names that will be easier to sell.

Good luck

Thanks for that Giles - Where do I look at drop lists? What would you see as a 'reasonable' amount to pay for a decent domain?

There are plenty of places, you will need to google it or just start a thread here on NP asking for the best places

To be honest, a lot of people use them and \I have used them before but never found anything I like, I find it better to think of the names you like, see if they are being used and if not, email the owner asking for a price

It really depends on the name and what you think you can sell it for, I have bought names for between $100 and $300 and then sold them on for $7000 and $8000, you have to patient though, if the name is good enough, buyers will eventually find you

Good luck
