I had a domain at Estdomains.com. As most of you know these domains were all moved to Resellerclub.com sometime back.

Now i want to sell this domain which is at Resellerclub.com(managecp.resellerclub.com). I asked my buyer to create a free account at Resellerclub.com so that i can push the name. Looks like the buyer has to pay $199 inorder to create a Resellerclub.com account.

Is there any way where i can push the name to my buyer free of cost i.e without transferring the name for which 1 year renewal fees is required?

Thanks in advance.

Buyer can open account for free at whiz.in or wsdreg.com, which are Resellerclub.com resellers and I think that you should be able to push this domain there :)

Like the above poster stated, the buyer should not need to open a reseller account.
Directi's somewhat official resellerclub outlet site is: answerable.com.

Someone should start compiling a list of resellerclub sites for Namepros -- if nothing else, so people don't confuse the LogicBoxes interface for Resellerclub (ie. mitsu.in looks like a Directi Resellerclub.com reseller, but it is not. Mitsu.in is an independent registrar using Directi's registrar user interface product).

I tried pushing this name from my resellerclub.com account to my answerable.com & whiz.in accounts. In both cases it failed giving the following error

[r1] Error Message: Moving the domain name to the specified Customer account is currently disallowed.

I tried contacting the support at resellerclub.com and they are saying i will have to transfer the name(which means i will have to pay 1 year renewal fees).

1. Is there any other way i can get it pushed freely to my buyer.

2. I registered the domain originally at Estdomains.com because it had free push & free account creation. Now they moved it to Resellerclub.com. Is there a way to create a free account at Resellerclub.com

Thanks to all.

What a pain. I don't have any useful suggestions, but that certainly is poor management from their side. Hopefully someone else will be able to offer assistance.

I had the same situation, and called Reseller to see what they could do. The best they could offer was to transfer (not push) it to Whiz, for a transfer fee of course. Why only Whiz, I don't know.

In the end, I had to cancel the sale. Happily, the buyer was understanding . I now plan to move all my domains gradually out of Reseller.

If you find a way around this, I'd love to hear it. Good luck.
