Need Some Brainstorming

Hello anyone who views this.

I have been working on a web browser game for a while now *cough* 2 years *cough* i have the whole thing sorted out except 1 major problem thats been bugging me for 6 months now. I need a suitable template that will work, iv tryed endless ways to do it, but always end up with some kind of problem that ruins it. Any templates u could show me and ideas u have are very much welcome, help me start the game

P.S. I wont pay for a template so dont make 1 and ask for some kind of payment.

what do you mean by template? a site template or something...?

What i mean is a layout you know menu on the left a little img at the top and stuff like that. Maybe color sugestions any tricks i could use. Anything cool and design for a game not some hosting company.

and i also forgot to add its a space web game, just so you know.

Edit:
Im not that good with gfx, any tutorials on how to do good gfx work would be nice too. i have the vision of the perfect layout but cant make it. Then i get the 800-1024 debate too, but i do it in 800 and 1024 will have to put up with black lines either side of the centered table unless its one of them left and top menu/title layouts.
