i have a site getting an insane amount of clickthrough, but the pay sucks! i cant complain, its steady income, but with a 30-40% CTR im thinking of switching ads... any advice?

the site is of a popular gameshow in the US

There's nothing much you can do with low paying ads except blocking them using Competitive Ad Filter. You can also play up with keywords and content so that a little different ads appear.

you're adds pay what people are biding plus what your page rank is! example if you choose a website about video games and the top bid for a add is 80 cents. and you have a page rank of say 1 then you might only get 8 cents! it all depends on the market.

Do you know how to block certain ads from only one of your domains instead of universally?

For example...if I had McDonalds.com blocking Burger King ads, but also owned BurgerKing.com

sorry, as far as i know, there are only universal ad filters.
