Need Reviews: A New And Very Promising Proxy Site!

Ok friends,
I have launched a not just new but a very promising proxy site called free2hide.com. Its promising not just in the sense of having a great look.. but promising in in the sense of having some cool features, a user community and other things which other very very popular proxies lacked till date.

I know this forum dont allow me to copy/paste all the text in the feature list with descriptions due to SEO reasons,so i will just write the headlines and leave it upto you.

Regarding the keyboard, if it is there so that the user does not have to type, why is it that you can't use lowercase characters?

If you want to visit a subdirectory or specific filename, you have to use the right case letters.

This should be added imho.

Nice work. Only gripe is that your top bar can obstruct parts of the website a user is viewing.

Now on to the marketing and getting the website out there. Good luck with that. It's tough work and if you have any tips send em my way.

i understand your desire to use a custom file-name or letters on the on-screen keyboard. actually i had removed many special characters and small letters from there because firstly "Bigger letters" are "more visible" and "easy-to-find" on the on-screen keyboard and the special characters go missing because i want to prevent any hacker from doing CSRF & XSS attacks on any other victim website using my proxy. whereas if you want to type the file-name of a remote file say "http://w0w.rapidshare.de/?=l8mnz3%murga~~&js=off" then as a common-sense and also as a fact that i can very cleverly assume that you already have the url-link of that pre-written text beforehand on any other rapidshare download site or torrent index or forums or say in a text-file and now any person who has such a complicated website-url pre-written beforehand on any site or say a file then he wont take his 10 minutes in typing that url from on-screen keyboard, rather he would select the text with his mouse cursor and copy it and finally paste it in free2hide.com's url-box and surf it... and the keylogger/spyware wont understand what you copied and pasted because its only interested in capturing your keyboard buttons that were pressed.. understood!

but there maybe a rare person who has the long 10-line url written on a paper or photo image, then also he would first type it on to a text file using his real keyboard and cut it & paste it into free2hide.com url-box and save the file so the keylogger may get the url initially but when it sees that information is stored in a text file then it removes the url from its memory and later tries to access that stored file where it wont get any info as the url-text has been already cut/deleted before saving the file.

still i have taken your idea for consideration and will start a poll at our forum at Free2Hide.com Community Talk! - Index and will implement it once some more people tell me the same thing via polls.

for your information: if you read the info above then you might have read point no. 9 above which has the text "Comfort Of Draggable Url-Box On Proxified Page".. its tutorial is over here Moving the black-box on proxified page
take time to read this then you would understand that this top-bar (which i call black-box or url-box) is draggable/movable, you can move it with your mouse, its not obstructing anything.. you can move it to any corner of the screen you want to and even put on tiny part visible. so you will be able to see the whole proxified page without any disturbance from the url-box.
and after you finished surfing then you can bring back the url-box with your mouse and "clear cookies" or visit another website from the url-box there without going back to the home page of free2hide.com and thus save a lot of time and energy in the whole process which has now become a more enjoyable experience with the help of this draggable url-box(or black-box) as i call it
try this and let me know..!

Yes, the firewall of schools will most likely block the website because the content of the website contains words such as unrestricted, uncensored, bypass, filters, hide.

I have a question real quick will this get filtered by high school fire walls ?

well as Snoork said,
it doesnt always goes by the way of keywords.. i had tested this proxy in various IT company offices and cyber cafes where there was firewall installed and still free2hide.com worked successfully without any problems.

as far as the firewalls are concerned.. normal firewalls need to be told/configured that this website abc.com has to be blocked or not.. but in case of advanced firewalls and web filtering software like netnanny where the sites are automatically blocked they have 2 levels firstly their developers scan google for proxy sites available and put it on the filter list so any user of a very popular proxy site say "hidemyass" will get it blocked as it tops google search and is obviously blocked by developers of netnanny but free2hide.com "isnt good at seo" and doesnt reach google's first or second page for proxy sites so you can surely bet that it wont be blocked by firewalls of the first level. secondly there are firewalls of the second level which filter by keywords and can block any site which contains those keywords but the keywords "such as proxy, bypass etc " must be pre-definded by the employer/owner of this second level firewall to make it work.. this was what just Snoork said but such firewalls as really expensive and not used everywhere thus free2hide.com will be working at all places where this second-level firewalls with the proper keywords are not installed and configured and so at all these places you can enjoy surfing happily using free2hide.com at all times.

additionally.. if any user of free2hide.com notices that its blocked at any school or so.. then they can report it at our community forum at Free2Hide.com Community Talk! - Index or send a PM to me here and i will start a new proxy site for them instead with the same cool features mentioned above.. so they wont need to search for a new proxy site again.
