also you can add side borders, i love side borders lol

add a copyright bar and you are good to go

It looks too plain, IMHO. Why does it have a 'sound off' button?, is it a flash website?. Either way (HTML or Flash), adding sound to a domain name related website isn't a good idea. The layout looks ok, just try to use other fonts for the buttons, or use simple text.

the reason it is plain is mostly because we are trying to get a more newspapery feel to it. The "sound off" button is not meant to be a sound button. it will be a section of the site where people can "sound off" about companies or people who are scammers etc. i am changing the font for the buttons right now.

IMHO, I also think it looks a bit plain. Im not sure what is making it plain, it just looks dull. Maybe try adding in more colours, and making the banner a bit more attracting.

one reason that it looks plain is probably because there is not content. other than that we are going for a plainish look. if we decide to go with this design, nick_mayhem is going to spruce up the header a little.

The design looks simple and semi-professional. You might want to change the placement of the date in my opinion. Other than that, it looks good to me.
