UPDATE: Need Programmer for File Storage Site
Hello, to save money as well as time, please just use the free script located here: http://celerondude.com/index.php?a=s and make the necessary modifications/additions to the code to get what I would like, which is listed below. Then PM me your new quotes.
My budget is around $150.
In general, I would like a site CODED (I can handle the web design) where people can easily store files and share it with their friends.
DETAILS:
User (general):
- User signs up/login
- User can upload a bunch of different file types - SEE BELOW
- User is given a bunch of different Upload forms so he can upload many files on one screen (with one click of the Submit button)
User Pages:
- User page has different sections for the different file types (Photos page, Video page, etc.)
- Each section on User page is given its own unique URL to send to his friends so they can see his files
- User has the option in his own admin panel to make files public/private
- Private: only he can see it when he logs in
- Public: anyone who goes to user's unique URL (obviously won't sign in) will see all these files
User Upload:
- User will be prompted with a screen when he wants to Upload a file where he first chooses what types of files he wishes to upload
For Photo Upload:
- This will probably be the most common type of upload
- When user selects to upload photos, he creates album names
- User can select which Album he/she wants to put each one in from a drop down menu
- User selects which images he wishes to upload
- Automatically creates a page within each Album that has many thumbnails of all the images in the respective album
Admin:
- Oversees the files that are being stored
- Can easily delete files that may be harmful/offensive
- Controls all user accounts (can edit/delete whenever)
