Established need Money? I am Looking to buy established sites

are a minimum of 1 year in age - preferably older

are unique - no scraper / directory /affiliate / drop-ship /automated / templated sites need apply

PR 3 or higher with reasonable alexa rating

revenue would be nice, but not necessary

established traffic

I am willing to pay $100 - $100,000

Also are posts like this just phishing? It always seems odd to me that it's inevitably a guy with 1 post who strangely enough never seems to respond to any of the posts and nobody ever reports selling a site via one of these posts. If somebody wanted to find out what type of site was making the kind of money that would make it worth 100K this would be the perfect way to do it. Once you've got that knowledge just do some research, find how they are advertising, what link trades etc they have then clone away.

Just a thought.

Well that's a good point but remember someone could easily just search the web instead of doing this. Many people tell everything when they are selling in this forum. If they respond they obviously would like to sell and it's not going to hurt them. I have made threads like this because I really want a unique site but I've found that it's better just searching here everyday.

Ah but the difference between looking for a site that somebody is trying to sell and solicting them in this way is that if I have a great site that's making me money I don't want to sell it. But if somebody was to offer me 100K I might consider it and so would give up all the relevant information to one of these 'phishers'. Do you see my point?

I actually think its promising for web developers out there to see people like me who actually create a market for certain site developers.
