Need Keyboard Help.

After I spilled sprite on my keyboard I ordered a new on on ebay. Brand new Logitech keyboard.

So it came in today. Looks good. all it good. I install it, restart my pc and seems to be working fine.

When I try to use the ? it really gives me nothing.

But when I press the : with shift I get ?

Hope that makes sense. Took me a while to find those. Everything else is working. Just the stuff on the right near the enter buttom is all messed up/

That's impossible. How did you get the : then? Because you have to press shift and ; to get :.

Or am I missing something?

Because I pressed something else to get it. I presse the Cwith a comma under it to get the :

Ensure that the language is set correctly.

Go into control panel > regional and language options > languages tab > click details

in this screen ensure that the Default input language and the installed services are set to the correct language. For you I beleive they should be English (United States) - US

--> Control Panel
--> Keyboard
--> (tab) Hardware

Is the right device there?
Perhaps you check your Properties there.

Nothing impossible about it at all, it sounds like just a case of the keyboard map being set to the wrong 1. On a US map shift and 2 produce an @ but to get that on a english uk keyboard map you need to press shift and '

I just need to find the right layout for the keyboard. Its not US. The language is US but the layout is something else.

It is not the keyboard that sets the layout, it just sends the signal to the computor telling it which button was pressed. Did you double check the settings were correct?

I am not familiar with logitech keyboards but is it possible there is a setting in it's software that could be to blame?

No, my keyboard is a certain layout. Its US but theres a certain layout. And I dont know what the layout is. If I find the layout it would be easy to setup so the keyboard works.

Boguns, you said there was a c with a comma on your keyboard, right? If so, the layout is probably French.

What are the first 6 letters on the first row of letters? They aren't "Q W E R T Y", are they?

yes. all letters are the same as a us standard keybaord except the C
