Hmm, this one is tough. It's a great keyword, but I don't know whether or not it would be worth anything to an end user at this point. If you wait a year it will certainly pick up a lot in value, or maybe you could sell it to an eager domainer who has more patience.

So while it is a great name, I can't think of any realistic use for it yet. If you were to sell it, I wouldn't take less than $200, because there is no doubt that this domain will be worth much more down the road.

well the .tv extension kills the value never the less it's a premium based keyword and it always worth a bit, low/mid $xxx to end users

i also have to agree that although the domain is very nice, it's use may prove difficult to perform.

just my 2 cents

I disagree, personally I think this domain is worth a lot more to an end user then the value of low to mid $xxx - I have noticed in the UK a lot of companies are using .tv domains when advertising on tv and you can bet they have spent a lot more than $200 on the commercial.

The name is easy to remember, .tv names are becoming more popular.

If it went to auction, you might get low $xxx - I guess if you want to make money with this name your best bet is to go to the companies and sell it. For a company that has spent possibly $xxx, xxx on advertising you can ask a reasonable sum for it.

Dont expect a quick sale it might take a long time to sell, patience is the key - but like I said to make money from this domain you have to market it directly at the end user.

Personally, and I know I will be shot down in flames for this, I wouldn't except less than mid to high $x,xxx for this domain and to the right user (a rich insurance company or their marketing department) - I would want at least low to mid $xx,xxx

Im sure people will disagree with my, its just my opinion on this name :)

Recently i've been seeing a lot more commercials for websites using .TV.... and for some reason Insured.TV seems like it can become a website for some (insurance?) company, but i'm not 2 sure. Nonethless, I think the domain is worth holding on to waiting for the extension to become a little more ripe because we CAN see that TV is being used more and more, so it will only develop value over time, and since it is a main keyword, you should have nothing to worry about. Unless you are in a hurry, I wouldn't see myself letting go of this one till I get the right offer (which for me would me midxxx to possible low xxxx)

It's not the fact that it has a .tv extension as that is rapidly growing in respect. I think the it's how it is worded. I would value insurance.tv at a higher value then I would insured.tv The fact that it's past tense makes it read a bit funny for me.

It depends, the word insured describes what you are when you have insurance, insurance describes the product. I think the value difference between insurance.tv and insured.tv is down to personal opinion.

Insured is probably an easier word to fit into a marketing campaign.
