It is nearly impossible to register domains and then sell them for a big profit before they expire. Too many people got there before you.

To get decent names today you would have to buy them at auction. To do that effectively you need to know the market very well.

The other alternative would be to buy for the long term (over 5 years). There may (or may not) be more growth of the Internet that would push up values of certain neglected parts of the domain space. You can bet on which kinds of domains will become popular. Remember renewals in your planning, and the fact that renewal cost can rise. I would say stick to .Com and perhaps your own country code if it is not .US, others would disagree.

Fact is that a lot of people started domaining in the last year and they have been searching for domains everywhere. The easy stuff is long gone. You just have to be more clever than they are.

Godaddy auctions, flippa , sedo ..If your names are premium, they will attract buyers in auctions..Else you have to wait for the right buyer..Good Luck..

I would suggest staying away from FLIPPA and rather Consider GoDaddy / Afternic

To List your domains for auction its free if you have a membership - I guess its $10 annual

GoDaddy - 20% commission - But lot of exposure

PayPal supported for US only (I guess) , for Asian subcontinent wire transfer
