Need help with Wordpress custom search

Hey guys :wave: ... I feel like there should be a simple solution to this but despite a few hours trying to figure it out I simply can't.

On my wordpress blog I'm trying to customize my search so that the search results are displayed based on the rating (on a scale of 1 to 5) of each post. Obviously the better rated the posts, the higher they should appear on a search result list.

I've gone through about a dozen plugins but I can't find one that works (plenty have rating systems... but I can't find one that customizes my search through the rating system).

If anyone could please help out or give a few tips on how to do this that'd be awesome.

I guess its down to how the plugin rates the page and where it stores the rating. You could then customise wordpress to query this as well when returning results with a join (or similar)?
