Need help with email please

I would like to set up a basic email account using a domain at dynadot. Can anyone tell me the easiest/best way to do this?

I do use DD but I've never used their email system, I assumed you've looked at their help section to cure your problem?. good luck.

Yes I've checked out the help section under basic web hosting. DD says email can be set up that way but they do not recommend it.

Buying a hosting at Dynadot just for an email account isn't a good choice.

You can do two things:
1. You can use email forwarding.
You will be able to send an receive email from [email protected]. Just set up email forwarding to for instance [email protected]. This will enable you to receive email. Then inside your gmail go to:
Settings > Accounts and Import > Send mail from another address

2. You can use google apps (doesn't require a hosting account)

I suppose you can do the search for email hosting and find out something really useful.

People used Dynadot because it is a good web hosting site. But they do not use it only for email purpose. But you can do the following to use email services. You should read the help section of Dynadot. You can use Google apps . You just read information at help section or FAQ on Dynadot and follow the things given in that.After doing this I hope you can solve your problem.
