Hello I regged a domain name right now.

I want to know how can I do that NS1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com thing.

So that My customers could point their domains to my server. I have a reseller account.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

They should already be set up. If not ask the company you resell from and they will do it. Then all your customers need to do it put in ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com when transfering a domain.
Hope that helps

depedning on your registrar:

go to your domain. In ENom for example it is called something like 'make nameserver'.
there you go to a page and you enter i.e.
ns1.domain.com points to IP address

repeat for ns2
give it max 48 hours (usualy much shorter).
the IP number has to be given to you from your web host provider

As stated above it depends on your registrar. Mine is under the 'Create Child Name SErver' section.
And you need a little something set up on the server, and you're set.

Google custom nameservers + setup

Thanks. Weblord.

I was thinking that why isn't it working.

So I should now park it on my server which I bought. right?

Thanks.

i thought you want to place a page there for hosting prices? if it is then add domain is the thing, merely park? then it's useless if you do on your server keep it staying on sedo or the other parking program for extra income. youre thinking for 2 days? i was not online here yesterday so i was not able to remind you with that.

Nick, parking the domain on your server and making a domain a name server are 2 different thing.
you make a domain a nameserver so that that domains becomes a pointer for your other domains.
for example sedoparking is a nameserver. you point the other domains to ns1.sedoparking and ns2.sedoparking etc...
you need to follow the option to set a domain as a nameserver by entering ns1.yourdomains.com (or other extension) to point to a specific IP address, and the same for ns2.
once that is done, you can now set your other domains to point there by setting their DNS (not making them nameserver) to ns1.yourorginalname.com and ns2.youroriginalname.com
that way all your domains that are DNSed that way will go to your server.
if you merely want to point a domain to your server and it is already hosted, all you do is ask the hosting company for their nameservers, and then change the DNS of your domain to theirs.
