Need Design Ideas

Hello everyone, we are working on designing a vBulletin style for our racing site. We want something exciting, yet clean...something that will WOW people. Here is the problem, we are all out of ideas and was hoping some of you could give us a little direction. Any help would be great!

Ya I think there is going to be a little bit of flash in the header, however, not sure how I want the layout to look. I am running out of ideas and am running out of time. Rumor has it that we may have a TV and Magazine spot and I do not want the site looking blah....

IMHO better NOT to use Flash header. keep the design simple and cleen and not too cluttered. Probably using racing flags and integrate them into your header design sounds neat. you can try design first. I don't think there is a need to use more than one image of car racing for your header. Even better if you can come out with nice manipulation of shapes for your header instead of using actual photo. just my 2 cents ^^ anyway .. good luck.

Sure LOL, but it is just the default vBulletin template. Once we get that designed, then we will design the storefront and any additional pages.

Out focus right now is on the forum.
