earlier this year i registered a domain name (.co.uk) and created a brand around the name
this is a generic name given to a specific type of electronic scooters with searches of about 500,000 a month on google. This name is being used worldwide and other companies are using variations of the name.
Now an existing company who doesnt sell this exact product but sells something similar has emailed me saying that i basically have to hand over the domain name to them within a week or they will be taking it further, as the name iam using sounds very similar to theirs (only a letter missing)
The existing company has been around since 2001 and are well established worldwide but they do not sell this particular product only something similar. This particular product has only become popular this year but is very similar to theirs and is even more popular.
my question is do i have any rights to this domain? would i have to just give it away just like that for free!?!?
