I'm agree with you. Proxy websites consume HIGH CPU and RAM, and a VPS would do good job for proxy websites.

Sorry for the delay. I am looking for something that is less than $10/mo. Whether it be a shared proxy host or a managed VPS, either is fine. I do not want to manage my VPS, so if it is managed that will work.

I have seen proxy hosts run off of high end servers and tweak their settings to only allow phproxy and run without issues. These are domains that have once had proxy sites on them but since been parked. I want to put sites back up to get the traffic going again.

Thanks, but I found a better deal with a known host that has been around for years. They offered 6GB space, 300GB bandwidth, and unlimited domains for $6/mo. Uptime has been 100% since signing up.
