Agree, but let's not panic until we hear directly from member "NH-Benjamin" here, as well :imho: .
If you have/had any web hosting account with him, please PM him in the interim.

You shouldn't have to worry about losing your domains. NH was a reseller (with directi and...?), not a registrar, so your domains will still exist with the registrar. Hopefully you'll have an update soon.

We are not filing chapter 7 all operations will continue. Our bank just decided to misplace 60K USD so we were in a bind but its been resolved.

Very Bad News

VERY BAD NEWS
I just got this email:

To Whom It May Concern,

Please be advised that the status of NationHosts is uncertain as of current and its my regret to be leaving NationHosts this afternoon.

Basically I have been working for NationHosts for 5+ months and not got paid and the owner Matthew Cohen who although I consider a friend did nothing at all and I handled a majority of sales and administration etc.

Well he is currently is in some kind of financial issues and is unable to pay the bills required to maintain the company.

I would assume service interruption affecting all customers will begin within 24-48 hours and if not soon after as his provider is going to turn him off.

I offered to loan the money to cover the bills and even wrote the check but he promised to cover the cost immediatly instead this morning I noticed the money he did have which was transferred since I was paying the total amount was reversed by him.

He called me last night while I was at a friends and had some sort of a explanation but insisted no reversal. In anycase due to this I told my bank to issue a stop payment on the check to cover his bills.

I suggest all customers immediatly seek a new webhosting provider immediatly due to the upmost incompetency of Matthew Cohen the NationHosts owner.

Please be advised your domains will also become unmanageable so please also request chargebacks or contact paypal.

If you do not seek new webhosting you could in addition to payment made to NationHosts lose your website or other items hosted by NationHosts.

Please be clear on many occasions I forwarned Matthew he needed to take charge of this situation and become proactive.

He failed you all and also failed me as I was constantly promised pay which he has still not ever sent nor his old co-owner Yazan Al-Shiekhly in addition his partner is holding $847.96 of money that domain customers paid so several hundred domain customers were robbed of monetary funds.

I can suggest the following steps for recovering or preventing damage from you relationship with NationHosts LLC / Matthew Cohen.

1.) I immediatly suggest all customers try to backup their websites and other data hosted by NationHosts.

2.) I suggest you then immediatly get a new webhost.

3.) If you have made payments for hosting or other services I suggest you contact your bank or other financial institutions and explain the situation and request a chargeback.

There seems to be a lot of concern going on regarding nationhosts. Good of luck to you all, but I personally do not think that your domain names will be taken away/lost because of NH for reason pointed out by RJ.
